How do I upload my first contract?▼
Navigate to Contracts → Upload New. Drag and drop your PDF or Word document. Our AI will automatically extract key terms, dates, and clauses. Review the extracted data and click Save.
What file formats are supported?▼
We support PDF, Word (DOC/DOCX), and plain text files. For best OCR results, use high-resolution PDFs with clear text. Scanned images work too but may require manual review.
How do I set up my first workflow?▼
Go to Frontiers → Workflow Builder. Choose a template (e.g., "3-Stage Approval") or start from scratch. Drag nodes to create your flow: trigger → approver → notification. Set conditions and save.
How do I enable voice commands?▼
Press Ctrl+Shift+V (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+V (Mac) anywhere in the app to activate voice mode. A microphone icon will appear. Speak naturally: "Show me contracts expiring this month" or "Create new contract".

Does voice control work offline?▼
No, voice commands require an internet connection for speech recognition. However, all other app features work offline and sync when reconnected.
How do I connect to Salesforce?▼
Go to Settings → Integrations → Salesforce. Click "Connect" and authorize ContractIQ. Map your contract fields to Salesforce objects (Opportunities, Accounts). Enable auto-sync to push contract data in real-time.
Can I integrate with QuickBooks?▼
Yes! Go to Settings → Integrations → QuickBooks Online. Connect your account to sync vendors, track contract spend, link invoices, and auto-populate vendor information. The integration uses OAuth for secure authentication.
How do I set up Slack notifications?▼
Settings → Integrations → Slack. Click "Add to Slack" and choose your workspace channel. Configure notification rules: contract expiring, approval needed, high-risk detected, etc. Customize frequency (instant, daily digest).
Can I connect to Microsoft 365 and Slack?▼
Yes! Microsoft 365 integration (beta) allows you to send Teams notifications, upload to SharePoint, and create Outlook calendar events. Slack integration is fully functional with contract alerts, budget notifications, and channel updates. Both use OAuth for secure authentication.
What about API access?▼

How do I export data to Excel?▼
Go to Exports page. Click "Download CSV" for any dataset. Open in Excel or Google Sheets. Or use "Copy CSV" to paste directly. For custom exports, go to Reports → Custom and select your columns and filters.
Can I schedule automated exports?▼
Yes! Go to Settings → Scheduled Exports. Choose frequency (daily, weekly, monthly), dataset (contracts, spend, KPIs), and delivery method (email, SFTP, S3). Exports run automatically and include only changed data.
How does AI contract review work?▼
Our AI analyzes uploaded contracts for: risk clauses, unfavorable terms, missing sections, renewal dates, and compliance issues. Review results appear in the "AI Insights" tab. You can customize risk thresholds in Settings.
Can I train custom ML models?▼
With Frontiers add-on, yes! Go to Frontiers → ML Trainer. Train models for: risk scoring (your criteria), renewal prediction, spend forecasting, vendor clustering. Models auto-retrain weekly on new data.
What is the AI Assistant and how do I use it?▼
The AI Assistant (chat bubble, bottom-right) answers questions about your contracts. Ask: "What contracts expire next month?", "Which vendors are over budget?", "Show me high-risk items". It understands natural language and your data.
How does flat-fee pricing work?▼
